The Town is pleased to announce the start of a streetlight improvement project that will replace existing high-pressure sodium (HPS) streetlights with new, energy-efficient LED fixtures throughout several areas of the community.
This project is part of the Town’s ongoing commitment to reducing energy consumption, lowering operating and maintenance costs, and improving the quality of street lighting for residents and visitors. LED streetlights consume significantly less electricity than traditional HPS fixtures while providing a longer service life, reducing maintenance needs, and supporting the Town’s sustainability goals.
The new LED lighting will also improve visibility by providing brighter, more uniform illumination along roadways. These enhancements are expected to improve safety and visibility for pedestrians and motorists traveling throughout the community.
